Goals: Set. Make. Celebrate.

Goals: Set. Make. Celebrate.

At the beginning of every year our president, Angel Livas, sets company goals for us to meet. This year, our number one goal was to win our first government contract. It didn’t matter if we were a prime or sub-contractor. We just wanted an opportunity to do what we love in the government space.

Well earlier this year we were contracted to handle all of the media, marketing and social media services for SWaMfest, an event targeted to connect small, women and minority businesses to the purchasing power of the Virginia Association of State, College and University Purchasing Professionals (VASCUPP).
We were stoked.

But, most importantly, we knew we had a huge undertaking ahead of us. This was the 12th year of the event and we were a boutique firm with big goals and even larger expectations.

Well, on October 12th & 13th in Newport News, Virginia we did something that had never been done before. On opening night, the event had over 400 registered attendees. That’s a whooping 70% increase from years past! Now, we don’t take all of the credit – as we recognize that our amazing prime contractor and client assisted with pushing the word out. But, we would like to believe that our precise marketing strategy and engaging social campaigns helped bridge the gap.

So as we near the end of 2016, start setting your 2017 goals. But don’t take for granted these next 40-days! Buckle down and tackle all of your 2016 goals! What can you accomplish before we head into 2017? Lets find out! Don’t wait until 2017 to set “New Year Resolutions”… start today!
